Lulu Rufeisen

Lulu has always loved to draw. When she was younger, her dad would take her to Starbucks and they would spend the time drawing anything they could think of on Starbucks napkins. As she got older and continued to draw, her art skills eventually led her to her first major art accomplishment: winning her middle school’s yearbook cover competition. Now in high school, she has chosen to pursue art more seriously by joining the Freestyle Program at Mountain View High School, which allows her to take specialized English, art, and design classes focused on improving her skills as an artist.

Lulu enjoys practicing any style of art on any medium but prefers drawing and painting on canvas. She favors drawing people because she likes the challenge of shading, figuring out the correct proportions of each human feature, and because she loves that drawing a person is a unique experience every time!
